The Slapwater

This pen is made of genuine Missouri beaver tail skin. 

While driving through the Missouri countryside, a beaver was spotted, dead on the side of the road. Much to the chagrin of the driver's wife sitting in the passenger seat, it was not allowed to go to waste. Again, to clarify: NO animals were harmed to make this product. The skin was wrapped onto a wooden core.

It accepts Cross pen ink refills. They are inexpensive and widely-available. The ink is black and the pen is awesome.

**The handmade pens are just that. Made by hand. One at a time. On a lathe. By a guy. Because they are made by hand, they are also completely unique. The one that you receive and cherish will be slightly different than the one that is pictured. It will also be a little different from the one that you order for your dad. And Uncle Billy. (Billy's going to love this!)
