The Double Windsor is a pen that was hand-turned. The wood was all sustainably sourced from already fallen timbers. It accepts Cross pen ink refills, which are widely available. Made of black walnut and spalted maple. Spalting occurs when a dead (usual fallen) log starts to decompose. The black lines are made by a fungus that infiltrates and follows the tree's vascular system.
**These handmade pens are just that. Made by hand. One at a time. On a lathe. By a guy. Because they are made by hand, they are also completely unique. The one that you receive and cherish will be slightly different than the one that is pictured. It will also be a little different from the one that you order for your dad. And Uncle Billy.
